I am receiving so many wonderful warm and affectionate notes from people on the occasion of my stepping down. One among many typical notes came from Beth Cameron of the NSC. Beth texted the following note to me late last night associated with the prior note wishing me a happy Thanksgiving: “Be well. And thank you so very much. I very much hope
to continue to learn from you in your future roles, and I also hope you are able to get a little bit
of time to rest (though that may not be in your DNA!) All the very best. I stand in awe of not just what you have done but how you have done it and with the humanity with which you have done it.”
