Global USA Increases in cases continue (see map below) Mark Meadows has asked me to certify that POTUS is not transmittable for SARS-CoV-2. This relates to the fact that NBC (Savannah Guthrie) execs do not want to host the Town Hall with Savannah moderating on Thursday (10/15/2020) unless they are sure that POTUS will not infect Savannah or anyone else connected with the Town Hall. I offered to have a PCR done here at NIH and to go over all the data with Cliff and certify if appropriate. Cliff went to WH and Sean Conley did nasal swab on POTUS and Cliff brough it back to NIH. Result was CT of 34.3. We then went over all his data including multiple negative cultures and multiple negative antigen tests (see attached document) and clinical course of >10 following onset of sxs and we determined that he was not infectious.
