• Spoke again with Ari Emanuel and his team of Don Walker (lawyer, represents Obama and Clinton) and Jay Mandell (Mostly involved with books). They just wanted to check in to see if IU needed anything. I mentioned the situation with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr who is writing a book about me entitled “The Real Dr. Anthony Fauci”, which undoubtably will be a very scandalous book. Don Walker was adamant that we should do nothing about this since Bobby Kennedy has absolutely no credibility over the past several years. because of how crazy he has been acting Over the past several years. His strong recommendation is to just let it go. Don emphasized again how much money that I would be making with my lectures. I re emphasize to him that although I like the idea about making money, my most important goal is to do good , and that I would prefer to do several speeches pro bono depending upon who asks me.
• Joan Baez will receive the Kennedy Center Award and there is a reception at the State Department on May 19th. She has invited me as her guest. What fun! Just spoke with her over the phone to check if there will be mask wearing since the press will have a field day if they saw me with Joan and we did not have masks.
