Global -132,000,000/2,900,000; USA – 30,700,000/555,200 Terrific experience tonight – On my walk tonight with Christine through American University campus, on the way back we were met by throngs of American University students who illegally sitting on the grass enjoying themselves. In groups of three to five people they kept coming up to me wanting to get photographs and selfies. It was truly amazing as it went on for group after group after group. I must have posed for photographs with over 50 young kids from American University. Then, on the way down past Al Dente restaurant where we stopped to pick up a pizza, customers outdoors and inside the restaurant kept coming up to me asking to be photographed with me. My pizza took a long time to be ready and so I must have spent 15 minutes at the door of the restaurant allowing people mostly young kids but some adults to have selfies with me. The entire situation was culminated when I walked out of the restaurant with Andre Jacobs, my security man, and the entire population of people who are eating outdoors at Al Dente and Chef Geoff’s burst into a prolonged round of applause. It was really quite charming. Andre had gotten nervous throughout the entire situation since some people just ran up to me with their camera in their hand to get a selfie. Andre does not like people just running up to me an almost body slammed a man who meant well but who didn't realize that he had charged up to me. A memorable experience!
