She is in a very difficult situation in that she was promised vaccine from CoVAX; however, they have not come through on their promise. I could not help her very much except to encourage her to have her people continue to wear masks and observe appropriate public health measures. I also suggested to her that she tried to make a deal with the Russians to try to get some of their vaccine. I also suggested that are possible long range solutions to try and get some of the surplus vaccine that would be left over after the USA vaccinated its entire population.
