Global – 72,900,000/1,600,000; USA – 16,800,000/306,000 The surge continues. Some states improving; others getting worse (see below for CA, TX, among others) 3656 deaths yesterday – another record!! Red flag in CA, TX, PA, FL, TN as their absolute number of cases and rate of rise of cases is deeply concerning. If these populous states have the same depth and breadth of the surge experienced in the Northern Plains hospitalizations and fatalities will dramatically increase over the next 2 weeks.
