       The surge continues. Some states improving; others getting worse (see below for CA,
       TX, among others)

       3656 deaths yesterday – another record!!

Red flag in CA, TX, PA, FL, TN as their absolute number of cases and rate of rise of cases is deeply
concerning. If these populous states have the same depth and breadth of the surge experienced in the
Northern Plains hospitalizations and fatalities will dramatically increase over the next 2 weeks. Deb

           •   Had good conversation with Christopher Whitty (Chief Medical Officer of the
               UK) and Sir Patrick Vallance (Chief Scientific Advisor to the UK Government)
               regarding comparing notes between UK experience and USA experience. Of
               note, the UK is seeing more than just the two instances of anaphylactic reactions
               to the mRNA vaccine of Pfizer
           •   VRBPAC approves the Moderna product. Waiting for FDA to officialy issue the
               EUA. Likely will start vaccinating with Moderna in a few days
