Very nice and warm reception in my honor given by the IDSA and ASM at the ASM
headquarters on 17th and N St., NW. Rosa DeLauro came and gave a very nice tribute to
me. People are really showing a lot of love to me that is very humbling.

I participated with First Lady Jill Biden and with Ashish Jha at the White House to do a
PSA for AARP encouraging elderly people to get vaccinated. Jill was very kind in the
introduction she announced that this was the last time that I would be on this stage with her and
she will miss me greatly. When she left the event she gave me a big hug and said she loved me
and would miss me. I said back at you
