Had a great dinner last night at my home with Tom Frieden and Chris. Tom is the president and CEO of Resolve to Save Lives, In the organization he formed with the financial help of Michael Bloomberg and Mark Zuckerberg. It was a very interesting evening and I got a lot of information of what it is like to leave the federal government as he did when he left the CDC and to go out on your own in a new adventure. Tom has always been a good friend and emphasized how much I helped and supported him in the CDC when he was the director. Amazing that Mbeki is still spoutin AIDS-denialism. He is currently Chancellor of a university in RSA (Unisa): TAC slams Mbeki for repeating his 'HIV denialist' views, demands apology Terrific podcast of TWIV with Vince Racaniello who interviews Eddie Holmes who vigorously defends me regarding the famous Feb. 1, 2020 teleconference.
