MPX cases continue to come down globally and in USA (see graph below). We are having
trouble getting supplemental funding from Congress to vaccinate a wider group of
moderate risk people suchas commercial sex workers, prisoners, trans people, etc. I have
been pushing for elimination of MPX with wider vaccination and ring approach as opposed
to elimination.

Had a wonderful evening last night going with Chris to a concert by Dionne Warwick at
the Warner Theater in DC. Met her after in her dressing room. Lovely woman.

Had a wonderful evening at the Library of Congress at a function sponsored by Catherine
and Wayne Reynolds. The featured people at the dinner who were Jimmy Page (Creator
and lead guitarist of Led Zeppelin) and his wife poet Scarlett Sabet who sat at my table.
Jimmy and Scarlett were absolutely wonderful and people and creative artists. Jimmy now
collaborates with Scarlet on making albums of her recited poems.
