Had a rather slow relaxed day (Columbus Day holiday). Also Chris went to New Orleans to help
Megan and Melissa move into their new home. I spend time reading in depth certain articles
including the frightening article in the New York Times by Robert Kagan on the danger to our
democracy. In addition I read a bunch of scientific stuff that felt good since I usually AM 1/2 an
inch deep and five miles wide.
I'm trying to put out of my mind the continual attacks by the far right dark web, Fox News, and
the lying senators and congressmen who keep harping on the gain of function nonsense. I'm
trying hard to not let it distract me, but it clearly is an organized assault on me
