Global – 173,700,000/3,700,000; USA – 33,200,000/595,600 Today the president went to England on the first leg of the trip involving the G7 summit. With regard to COVID-19, he has a very important message to deliver which I am very pleased about. He will announce that the United States will give away 500 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine to countries that do not have the capability of getting their own vaccine. I have been pushing for this for some time with Jeff and I have even spoken to the President and VP about the need to take a leadership role in getting vaccines to the lower and middle income countries. This is a first step towards vaccinating the world and to having the United States resume our leadership role throughout the world. I will continue to push to have technology transfer to the developing world so that ultimately they may be able to make their own vaccine.
