The NUH Treatment Guidelines came out in response to the EUA for convalescent plasma (CP). It just repeated what it had said before saying that there was not sufficient evidence for or against the use of CP and that clinical trials should continue. In essence, this is what the EUA said. However, the press went nuts saying that NIH contradicted the FDA and the POTUS who said that CP was a “major historic breakthrough”. In fact, the EUA and the Guidelines were aligned. It was the POTUS, AZAR, and Hahn who over-exaggerated. In any event, Meadows called up Francis Collins and started screaming saying that he needs to “fix this”. Meadows said until he does, Fauci and you will not get in front of a TV screen “even for a podcast with a 3rd grader”. Francis sent out a tweet to explain that there was no difference between the EUA and the Guidelines and Meadows was satisfied. Another day in Paradise…..
