Still >1000 deaths per day. Slight flatteningin AZ, but other states still surging. Yellow
states starting to increase.

Red states - >10% positive; Yellow states – 5 to 10% positive; Green states - <5%

House Hearing today – Select Subcommittee on COVID-19 – Chair – James Clyburn –
Rayburn-2154, Major clash with Jim Jordan (R-OH). Go to You Tube to see. I believe
that I made him look silly.

Important call form Larry Horowitz who works closely with nancy Pelosi.
Apparently, There was a meeting in the WH with Steve Mnuchin, Mark Meadows,
Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schummer. Steve and Mark told Nancy and Chuck that
AstraZeneca will have vaccine in September and that it will be given an EUA. Theyare
talking about the ChADOX vaccine that Adrian Hill is testing in Brazil and South Africa,
It is a 10,000 person trial. Apparently, Peter Marks does not know anything about this
and Larry just informed him. Bottom line is that they are going to pressure Steve Han
(who likely will cave in in the idea of an EUA) to issue one even though Peter has serius
issues with this. An EUA will likely get in the way of completing the RCTs that are
going on. Clearly. This is politically driven and will be a ploy for Trump to get re-
elected.

Jordan. CNN Jim Sciuttto, Don Lemon and Chris Cuomo dumped all over Jordan.
