Global USA Called Deb this AM trying to figure out how to stop this disaster. Contact tracing does not work. We need pooled testing. She will talk to Jared and I offered to call Mark Meadows. Spoke with Mark for 20 minutes at 7:45 AM. I laid it on heavy and he gets it. He will call an emergency meeting at the WH and agrees that we need to do pooled testing. I told him that our response regarding contact tracing and isolation was a “Fucking disaster and an abject failure” Also, he fully appreciates that the CDC is not up to the task. They cannot respond o a domestic or global pandemic. Had good conversation with DeMaurice Smith Director of the NFL Players Association (NFLPA). I clarified the misunderstanding re: my saying there will not be an NFL this Fall/Winter. Did 1.5 hour Zoom with CondeNaste led by Anna Wintour.
