 Some very early signs in NYC that the number of “new cases’ in starting the
stabilize. However, the deaths always lag and these will continue to increase over
the next week or two.

Did major briefing of the GOP House leadership organized by Liz Cheney and
Kevin McCarthy

Continued crazy stuff: Petition to name me “Sexiest Man Alive”; videos games
named after me; Fauci Bobblehead; dishes in redstaurants named after me, and on
and on.

Had good conversation with Bill Gates tonight who wants the BMGF to partner
with me (NIAID) and BARDA in the advanced development and scaleup of
vaccines, therapeutics. Also, wanted to discuss a strategy for opening up the
country after the wave subsides.

Really very fine podcast with Sanjay Gupta – personal, but very informative
