Here comes a sticky issue. The CDC (Anne Schuchat) give press
conference updating on measles situation. Today I got several requests to go on TV with
CNN (Anderson Cooper), Bloomberg, other networks such as CBS Morning Show. Sara
Baldauf at HHS tells Patty and Courtney to hold on all TV appearances since “CDC has
the lead”. Yet, I have been on multiple shows over the past couple of weeks on measles.
This idiot Sara is stuck on the Obama Administration theme that you can only have one
message and one Federal official talking about anything. She does not understand that
the press want me.
