Yesterday was 2nd imported case of MERS-CoV from Saudi Arabia – a health worker at a Saudi hospital. Went from Ryaad to London to Boston to Atlanta to Orlando. Went to University of Pennsylvania to give the 12th Annual Neal Nathan son Lecture on “Ending the HIV/AIDS Pandemic: From Scientific Advances to Public Health Implementation”. Spent whole day meeting with people many old friends – George Shaw, Beatrice Hahn, Larry Jameson. Megan had just decided last week to go to Penn, having also been accepted to Cornell, Columbia, Michigan, Hopkins, among others. Penn p [people are excited about Megan coming there. Had dinner at great restaurant (Bukkadan) in Philly before taking 9:10 PM Amtrak back to DC Did radio interview on new Guidelines for PrEP with CBS Radio in Men’s room of the 30th Street Station in Philadelphia while I was waiting for the 9:10 PM train back to DC.
