Was invited by the Bush family to a Kennedy Center event which was “The Points of Light Institute TRIBUTE – All together Now – A Celebration of Service”. Bush 41 sent me a hand-written note thanking me for my meager $150.00 donation. At the event were Presidents George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton. Clinton gave an amazingly moving talk about his friendship and love of Bush 41. Entertainment was terrific: Garth Brooks, Kid Rock, Cee Lo Green, Carrie Underwood, Darius Rucker, among others. Brought back very fond memories of my interactions with Bush 41 as well as other Presidents during the past 30 plus years.
