Major scandal at NIH with article in L.A. Times that shows that high NIH officials including Steve Katz, John Gallin and others have made hundreds of thousands of dollars consulting for pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Dec. 8-10, 2003 – Much media attention regarding the Fujian strain of influenza and the early indications of a bad season with deaths of children in Colorado and elsewhere. Vaccine has run out and people are panicking. 83 million doses distributed. I have already been and will be on CNN multiple times, MSNBC, CNBC, CBS, etc.
