June 8-18, 2003 – Continued activity and briefings, conference calls concerning the
Bioshield Legislation. White House still relying me on pushing the prospect of

mandatory versus discretionary funding for Bioshield. Also a number of network and
CNN TV appearances on emerging disease including SARS and monkey pox.
